We are established as a reliable and trusted Law Practice with over 10 years experience in dealing with a variety of cases. We also offer Legal Aid work in all areas of Law and we specialise in Family and Housing as well as court disputes.

Legal Aid

The Northwood Law Practice has been granted a Legal Aid Franchise in Family and Housing. This means that the Community Legal Service has recognised our speciality in these areas, and are satisfied that we provide a quality legal service in the above subjects and in addition to all other publicly funded matters that we deal with. This firm has also been granted a Civil Contract in relation to Legal Help to provide advice and assistance before court proceedings take place.

If you wish to apply for Legal Aid you will be financially assessed to determine if you are eligible. In addition you will have to demonstrate that you have a reasonable chance of winning your case.

Where there is an emergency, and on the basis that you are eligible, we can grant you public funding ourselves.
